Day Support Team Manager

Alzheimer's Society is the UK's leading dementia charity. We provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and create lasting change for people affected by dementia.

About the role

We are looking for a creative and motivated individual to provide cover in the absence of our Day Support Team Managers. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our team providing Day Support Services to people with dementia.

This role will involve working across both of the Day Support services within the Hambleton and Richmondshire area, providing cover where required. The ability to travel freely throughout the area is essential to this role, and expenses will be paid in line with Alzheimer’s Society expenses policy.

About you
You will possess NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent. An empathy and understanding of the needs of people with dementia and experience of managing staff and leading a team are essential for this role.

The successful candidate will be able to assess and evaluate client needs and devise and lead meaningful activities for people with dementia. You should have basic IT skills including word and Excel.
