About the role
With Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Friends and Dementia Friendly Communities programme, we’re building a movement to change the public conversation on dementia. Will you join us?
We’re looking for a Digital and Marketing Assistant to join the team. You will work on our two national programmes: Dementia Friends and Dementia Friendly Communities. You will be instrumental in helping us to reach more Dementia Friends, build stronger communities and mobilise their support for Alzheimer’s Society.
You’ll write and create digital content and coordinate day-to-day posting across Dementia Friends and Communities channels including social media, email and the website. You’ll create and report on the success of content and work with the Marketing and Engagement team to develop innovative and creative ideas to build our online community.
You’ll support on digital development projects, marketing campaigns, Salesforce CRM, share best practice on digital and marketing to the wider team and you’ll be the first point of contact for brand requests.
Our ideal candidate will be passionate about the power of digital to reach and engage audiences and will up to date with the latest trends, tools and opportunities.
You’ll have strong written communication skills and be able to write exciting and engaging copy for digital channels using brand guidelines.
You’ll be able to create engaging and innovative content, curate content from other teams and be confident using a range of tools for reporting and evaluation of activity.
Being able to build successful relationships across the organisation will also be vital, along with strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
