Alzheimer's Society is the UK's leading dementia charity. We provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and create lasting change for people affected by dementia.

About the role

The Marketing Assistant will work hard within the busy Marketing and Audience Insight Team to provide support for multi-channel campaigns, share knowledge, help team processes run smoothly and effectively, and support the wider Society with their communications and audience insight.  Together, we help raise awareness and understanding of dementia and promote the fantastic work we do as a charity. In this fast-paced role, you will have the opportunity to be part of an energetic and highly experienced team that is committed to the fight against dementia.

About you

We are looking for someone who has experience of working in a marketing role, preferably within the charity sector. You will have previous experience of supporting teams and will have excellent organisational and administrative skills.  You’ll be an excellent communicator and have the confidence and initiative to take ownership of projects such as asset development or print production management, as well as always looking for ways to improve team processes.  You’ll have a great eye for detail, so you can help us with proofing and ensuring consistency of brand application.

Not only will you be working for a cause that touches the lives of 1 in 3 of us, you will also be learning from highly experienced marketers. The Marketing and Audience Insight Team is committed to nurturing and developing the skills of our team, and we offer a wide range of training opportunities.

We are also proud to support our team with a wide range of benefits, recognition and options for working flexibly, all to support a healthy work life balance.
