We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Recruitment Advisor to join our friendly and supportive team. We are a new team looking for an additional individual to help deliver our exciting talent attraction and selection strategy!   

Under the leadership of the Recruitment Manager you will play a role in shaping the Society’s recruitment strategy and employer brand. You will be a “Recruitment Expert” to a wide variety of departments, assisting in creating a first-class candidate and stakeholder recruitment experience. Your role will help coach and support all hiring managers across the Society develop attractive recruitment campaigns and assist in selecting high calibre talent as well as using your influence to provide an excellent candidate journey.  

Working in closely with our HR Business Partners, you will identify upcoming recruitment activity, liaise with external advertising agencies and coordinate placement of advertisements into appropriate channels whilst identifying and creating engaging content to increase interest awareness of the Society as an employer of choice. 

You will have your finger on the pulse as you develop key internal relationships across several directorates within the Society as a recruitment subject matter expert!   

Although this is a home-based role, you will ideally reside in the West Midlands for occasional team meetings at our office in Birmingham City Centre.  

About you 

  • You will have proven work experience as an Internal Recruiter, Resourcer, Recruitment Partner or similar. 
  • Strong prioritisation skills with a keen understanding on our impact on other teams 
  • Strong experience working with key stakeholders and adding value 
  • Dedicated to providing a good customer and client experience 
  • Experience working with ATS and HR systems  
  • A good understanding of UK employment legislation  
  • Experience of resourcing via social media and job boards 
  • Experience at writing engaging advert copies would be a distinct advantage
