Salary: £25,806 - £28,181 - actual per annum (depending on skills and experience) (+ London Allowance of £3,600 if applicable)

We have an exciting opportunity for a committed and personable individual to join the South and London fundraising team at Alzheimer’s Society offering homeworking with some opportunities to get out into community outreach work!

 About the role

This is an exciting and fast-paced environment, within a creative and diverse team. Fundraising is an integral part of our Society and enables us to make a true difference in people's lives. The successful individual will benefit from working in a dynamic and well-supported team where you will have a direct impact on the lives of people affected by dementia.

The primary focus is;

  • Supporting our wonderful fundraising supporters who are integral to us.
  • Proactively securing new fundraising partners and accompanying administration.
  • Working closely in a team of five other community fundraisers covering and raising funds to maximise relationship building and income generation!

If you have a passion and skill for supporting volunteers, this is an exciting opportunity for you to build on your volunteer management experience, and truly make your mark in this rapidly expanding charity.

About you

We want to welcome a highly motivated and enthusiastic person who has excellent experience of working with donors and volunteers. We are interested in hearing from you if you have had a similar role before or if you can demonstrate the relevant skills and experience required in the job description! You are;

  • Experience of recruiting, managing and working with volunteers to deliver objectives
  • Knowledgeable in reaching and surpassing financial and non-financial targets
  • Good working knowledge of budgets.
  • An excellent communicator and confident in contacting supporters over the phone as well as giving presentations.
  • Able to be a real team player, as well as having the ability to work well on your own initiative.
  • Confident with conflicting deadlines so the ability to prioritise your workloads and have an organised, methodical approach.
