Alzheimer's Society is the UK's leading dementia charity. We provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and create lasting change for people affected by dementia.

About the role

The Alzheimer’s Society Dementia Adviser service operates across the whole of Gloucestershire & provides specialist dementia information, advice & support to anyone living with dementia in the County.  It is an integral part of the Gloucestershire Dementia pathway working closely with GP practices & the Memory Assessment service.

About you:

This is a non-medical role & we would provide the successful candidate with a comprehensive mix of dementia training & peer support from our existing highly experienced team.  We are looking for someone who has an empathic and caring nature who has had experience of providing professional signposting & support to a large caseload of clients.  We want someone who share the values of our organisation & who want to be a part of a well-established hardworking team who are focused on making a positive difference in the lives of people living with dementia.
