About the role

As an Area Manager you will provide operational leadership and management within the North London Area and coordinate activity to support the Head of Region in delivering the Society’s strategy in the region. You will manager a number of Dementia Connect Local Service managers, and work closely with your peers across 6 regions and 3 nations.  You will lead the implementation of strategic business management systems and their reporting across the area of operation, and to champion the delivery of quality across everything we do.

You will be educated to a degree level, or have equivalent experience in a Health and Social Care Setting. You will have experience in leading a geographical disperse team to deliver key performance outcomes to high standard.

To be successful in this job you will have a positive and proactive attitude to challenging situations and problem solving, using a collaborative and engaging approach with your team.

The Area Manager will report to the Head of Region and will be a member of the Regional Leadership Team and Operations and Society Management Teams. They will line manage local managers; lead Local Services and role manage specific volunteers.
