About the role

This is an exciting time to join Alzheimer’s Society in a strategy critical role. Working with the Research Evidence Manager, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work to ensure research evidence gets into the hands of decision-makers, influences evidence-based policy, campaigns, service development and communication to the benefit of people affected by dementia.

About you
We are looking for a Senior Research Evidence Officer who has experience of leading the development and implementation of research into practice, designing and embedding evidence processes, and of working collaboratively across an organisation and with external partners to deliver projects. A key part of this role involves identifying opportunities to create impact using the findings from Alzheimer’s Society funded research. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and an understanding of the health and social care environment. We are particularly interested in candidates with excellent critical appraisal skills. You will be able to work flexibly and creatively within a dynamic and ambitious team.
